Derek serves as Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Sr. Research Analyst of Hodges Capital Management and serves on the Board of Directors of the firm’s parent Company, Hodges Capital Holdings. He is the co-manager of the Hodges Intrinsic Value Fund (HDSVX), and several investment strategies for financial advisors, family offices, pension plans, and foundations. Derek received a BA in Finance in 2004, and his MBA in 2005 from West Texas A&M University. Derek started his career working for Edward D. Jones & Co. and BP p.l.c. in Amarillo before moving to Dallas and joining Hodges Capital Management in 2009.
