The Hodges Family has enjoyed a long history in the money management business starting with the late Don Hodges. He started in the business back in 1960 and over the ensuing decades, honed a research process that we still use today. The tenure of our organization is quite deep, with most of our key people having multiple decades of experience. In fact, the average tenure of our portfolio managers and research analysts is 21 years. We have had to navigate through countless market cycles, and our clients appreciate the rigorous research approach that we use.
Director of Business Development
Clark Hodges began his investment career in 1991 as a Registered Representative. Clark is the Director of Business Development and manages the sales and customer service department for Hodges Private Client. His focus is on building relationships with clients and prospects for HPC. Additionally, he heads up the marketing for Hodges Capital Management. Clark also serves on the Board of Directors of Hodges.
Having grown up around the business, Clark has a good understanding of the Hodges investment process and is passionate about developing the right marketing message to accurately depict the mission of the firm. ‘’Long term investing works and is a tradition in the Hodges family.” "The joy of this business is making a difference in people’s lives, and enjoying the personal relationship that is a result of this." Clark attended Baylor University where the Hankamer School of Business has the Hodges Capital Financial Markets Center. He is a avid college football fan. Clark is married to Kristina and they have 4 children.

Craig Hodges is co-founder and principal of the Dallas based money management firm Hodges
Capital Management. Craig and the investment team manage several different investment strategies that cover most major segments of the domestic equity market. These include the Hodges Multi Cap Strategy and the Hodges Small Cap Strategy, as well as separately managed accounts for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and foundations. After he began his investment career with Rauscher Pierce Refsnes Inc., now RBC Wealth Management, in 1986, Craig co-founded Hodges Capital Management to better serve his clients by utilizing proprietary, in-house research.
Craig is a frequent guest on CNBC and FOX Business News and has been featured in several publications including the New York Times, Forbes, and Barron’s. Craig majored in finance and marketing, receiving a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in 1986.
He is active in the community and has served on several investment committees including Methodist Health Systems Foundation, Southwestern Theological Seminary, Trinity Christian Academy, and is a member of the board of directors of VLSIP Technologies. Craig and his wife Jo Ann reside in Dallas with their twin daughters Katherine and Haley and a son, Case.
Chief Operating Officer
Brett is Hodges Capital Management’s Chief Operating Officer and has over 25 years of experience across the brokerage, mutual fund, and SMA industries. Brett is responsible for all aspects of Hodges Capital’s business, outside of research and portfolio management. Brett’s areas of expertise include building high performing teams, leveraging technological solutions to control risk, driving tangible financial improvements, delivering client-centric solutions and improving the overall client experience.
Prior to joining Hodges Capital, Brett was a consultant with Envestnet Financial Technologies, SVP of Operations with Placemark Investments (a leader in unified managed accounts and tax overlay, acquired by Envestnet in 2014), and a Vice President with JPMorgan. Brett graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and while he loves living in Texas, he does miss having mountains nearby.

A fiduciary has an obligation to act in the best interest of his/her clients in managing the clients’ assets, rendering investment advice, and trading in clients’ accounts. This obligation comes with an extremely high level of trust, and fiduciaries must not engage in any activity that would be considered a violation of this trust.
Fee-only investment advisors are not compensated by commissions from selling investment products. Instead, they are compensated by fees. The fees can be hourly, a flat fee, or a fee based on the amount of assets under management (AUM).
The account minimum is $500,000.
We charge a percentage of total assets under management. These fees are explained in detail in our Form ADV Part 2A Firm Brochure available on this web site.
